In the review, Hillery explores the elements that make a rougelite game and covers and how Until You Fall meets those expectations.

"Rougelite games are meant to be simple, but also still bring a feeling of progression. The best ones are also intricate. The way Until You Fall's equipment upgrade and unlock system works is easily a combination of the above," Hillery wrote. He then goes on to share details about the game's combat and progression system.

Overall, Hillery gave Until You Fall a solid rating of 8.5/10.
